2830 squadron was created by peter4460
My name is Peter Oldfield, and I am trying to find out Information about my Father and his movements whilst serving in RAF Regiment 2830 Squadron as a LAC. he served in Norway from July 1943 to December 1945. any information would be appreciated.

MOD ; requests for personal data and service records
All RAF service records are now kept at RAF Cranwell and it is possible for a family to request a copy of a relatives service record , next of kin only or your own .

A quick internet search also found details of 2830 Squadron records in TNA ; discovery.nationalarchives.gov.uk/details/r/C7159338 .
It may be worth contacting them to enquire about obtaining a copy for the period of time that you are interested in ?
The RAF Regiment Association may also be able to help ? ; www.rafregt.org.uk/regiment-info/raf-regiment-history/ .

Hi Peter
Like you my father was in Norway and part of 2830 squadron.
I have just raided the family albums and have photos of Norway an Egypt.
