Hi,
My name is Trevor Clark and I'm an aviation historian and ex-RAF serviceman, specialising in post-war RAF history.
I've been associated with the Tangmere Military Aviation Museum for 14 years of an on, depending on work commitments and I'm currently the museum Archivist and Deputy Curator. My connection with Tangmere dates from 1963 and in my profile photo, I'm five years old watching an Avro 707C arrive for RAF Tangmere's last ever B of B open day.
I shall be taking over as the Museum Curator at the end of the season. I am of a generation that embraces the power of the internet and social media as a research tool.....if used with caution! Hopefully I'll learn something here and occasionally be in a position to give something back.
I worked on 'your' Lightning F Mk 53 (subsequently ZF 578) during her service with the RSAF for the three odd years the aircraft was assigned to KAAB Dhahran. Armament of course!
