As Early as1913 the The Prince of Wales became an Airman on June the 20th he had a flight in the army airship Beta Gustave Hamel winner of the aerial Derby in 1913 arriving home, Col. Samuel Franklin Cody the 1st man to fly in Great Britain  and the first to build in this country a practical flying machine .The Hydro -Aeroplane of Col. Cody who was killed in a flying accident at Aldershot on August the 7th 1913   A squadron of Nieuport Scouts lined up in the snow at Bailleul Aerodrome. Women workers fitting the tops of bomb-cases R34 the first Airship to fly from Great Britain to the United States and back July 1919 . demonstrating an autogyro at Farnborough August 1925 .Her Majesty Queen Alexandra Flight Lieuenant S N Webster with the Supermarine Napier S 5 in which he won the Schneider Trophy at Venice The Westland fighter a new RAF aeroplane shown for the first time at Hendon June 1934 .Raf squadrons at drill prior to the 1934 air pageant
