Little Staughton - Photos from WW2 was created by NeilTurner
My father was a Sgt Pilot on Lancs with 582 Pathfinders at Little Staughton.
I've read Sean Feast's book, got hold of the airfield plans and visited the airfield a week ago to get my bearings.
I'm after any photos of the base from WW2.
Can anybody help please?

best regards

Neil

Welcome to the forum Neil.

Historic England have made a large number of the aerial photos avaialble to view online and there are two covering the airfield.

You should be able to zoom in to get a more detailed look at what was there than you would from a book photo. It may also show up differences to the plans, which were drawn up at a point in time.

Apologies for the late reply! I wrongly assumed I'd get an email to advise a response.
I've now joined as a full member and posted a more specific question on the airfields section!
Best regards
