Anti tank walls on Canal Bridge was created by WILLIAMARNOLD
These appear to have been a half wall at each end of the bridge one on one side and one on the other they are on Splash Bridge Bascote Heath Locks on the Grand Union Canal Stop line in Warwickshire the approximate grid ref is SP 392 643

The NGR is several hundred feet North of the canal but looked on the HER and no mention of any defensive structure. Might have expected the Defence of Britain Project to pick it up, could be worth sending the details to the HER.

Further east of this bridge there Was one with an octagonal obstacle close by but this seems to have been removed or destroyed in the Hs2 rail works that are going on .Why this bridge should have a wall is puzzling it is the only one i know off on this section of Canal www.ourwarwickshire.org.uk/content/catal...anti-tank-road-block
