Yes that is how the name is spelt on the map and it is at a nick in the rmlilstone grit ridge that runs from Congleton to Mow Cop (another glorious name) The inscription of this untypical memorial is obviously the result of much thought . . Some how its location on the ridge that is the boundary between Staffordshire and Cheshire seems to reflect the impact of the "Great War" on even the smallest communities of rural Britain
