All that remains of Baginton Airports Alvis Works

By the time i can post this even these may be gone in the massive industrial estate being buit next to Baginton airport . The only things left are the electricity substation and an air raid shelter that was behind the gate house . I am back online now.

Looking at the site on google earth rollback gives a better impression of just large a plot of land it is. The vehicle proving ground is quite substantial.

 On the 16th June 2023 i passed by the site and even those were gone the railing/boundary wall is all that remains. a new road has been built connecting the previous entrance to Baginton Airport by the Baginton Oak with the new Bridge over the A45 and skirts the 5 remaining Hangars where i took these pictures i was able to notice ta strange looking building lodged between two of the three smaller Hangars I wonder what it was for .The talk of trying to get a new Giga battery factory at Coventry Airport seems to me to be code for building it on Coventry Airport !For some reason I cannot post these on the Computer !i shall try at another date
