For some time I have been experiencing very slow page loads on the airfieldresearchgroup.co.uk domain compared to all other sites I visit. Sometimes 6 or 7 seconds to load one page on a 53Mb FTTC service. As you can imagine the time to navigate through threads on the forum is getting to be a bit reminiscent of dial-up.
Is it just me or is it a feature of the domain / domain hosts?
I was experiencing 'lag' this morning when trying to add images and though that it had frozen and clicked a few more times thoroughly confusing the engine. Had to delete and start over.
Pages routinely take seven to ten seconds to load compared to other web pages.
Ironically today it seems faster than in the past six months, still, not what it could be, but at least reading lots of posts doesn't take all evening.

Give it time...
I just had to Log-in, again ! So-far, the longest it has taken me, to get on site, has been 34 seconds !
I have fibre broadband (FTC) with the Full Fibre team installing next week. But, it's not the connection. Since moving (under duress?) to this format the Forum site has always been slow compared to any other site. There was an exception last week for a day when it was noticeably faster but it did not last.
Generally it has been very slow for over a year with odd days when things speed up. No other website is anywhere near this slow, although I haven't tried Microsoft for many years.
It does inhibit posting for me.

One bizarre feature of the change is that right hand click on a red underlined spelling come up with PASTE and not the usual suggestions. Or is that only me?
