Earlier today I posted a photograph on the Alconbury thread. Checking later it still had the last post as being mine from Jan 2020 at 21;24 ? Later it changed to my recent last post ? Checking again just now it states the last post was by PETERTHEATER on 22-05-2020 Waterbeach ? Then mine at 11-06-2020 at 08;08 this morning.??? I was still in bed at 8.50am ??????.

I see your Alconbury post as being done at 04.08, but then I am 5 hours behind you. I posted an F11 pic at 12.25 eastern standard time and that is the time I see on the post. Its all very confusingB)

It is the most recent post in Cambridgeshire so would appear to be correct. You may want to look in the Huntingdonshire section where you Alconbury post is. Don't forget we are using wartime county borders. I must admit to being totally confused as to what the original problem was as I didn't know from part of the forum you were looking at it from, was it RECENT POSTS or INDEX?

I always use RECENT POSTS to check for updates although this can be confused by moving of posts and edited posts which only get flagged as unread via INDEX for some strange reason. This may be why an old post may appear as unread in the INDEX.

The Alconbury in the Cambridgeshire Area was a shortcut, as indicated by the circular arrows

To avoid further confision I have removed it

Alconbury is in Huntigdonshire

These shortcuts are just annoying

Before someone says they don't see the icons like the circular arrows ( or indeed any of the others like the red exclamation mark, etc) you should know that omitting the icons is one of the rationalisations that occurs when you use the mobile version of the forum as opposed to the desktop version which includes much more information about the posts and topics

I wondered what those were for ? Maybe we should have a symbol display page, explaining what each one represents.
