I am still onthe lookout for a Karrier Bantam with box body. There is currently a a flatbed with sides available out there on the market. Is there anybody out there with the skills to do a conversion job?

You just require some 'plasti-card' to build a box for such a body . . .

The Base Toys models are designed so that you can 'swap' bodies by simply unscrewing them. So fitting the Karrier with another body is easy.

They are a mixture of Airfix, White metal and diecast .
The Airfix AEC bowser is readily available so you shouldn't have a problem getting hold of one . . . I converted the Bedford QL from the set, seen at the very front, into its wartime configuration.

I won these 3 x QL-D's as a collective batch and are from the Airfix Bedford QL-T & QL-D set.

They are nice models but, to my eyes, the paint finish looks too heavy.
