Bellman hangar pre WWII color

Good day to all,
I'm working on a small Hurricane in 1/72 scale, and for a diorama I would like to scratch a section of a Bellman hangar (it's not finished yet, but I put some pics)
I found enough drawings and pictures to get an idea of the dimensions of the shed, but I can not find any information about the color of it just in the prewar period.

Or you could play it save and paint it black. I think that was the original colour for metal hangars. Possibly with Dark Earth, or something similar, to break it up.

You are right about the period Paul. With this model I would like to represent a machine from the N° 151 Sqn.
From Squadron history its seem it began to receive Hurricane in December 1938. Identification code "GG" was used between this date and september 1939.
