Apologies if this is the wrong place/or has already been posted (surprised if it hasen't) but here is a link I found for a google earth/maps file for all UK WWII airfields.

MSF977. I couldn't get that link to work. From the same BB there are two below of some interest:

If you simply paste the URL it somewhere loses the middle bit on previewing, or submitting. The trick seems to be to select the URL, paste it, then reselect and click on the 'URL' style.
