Air Min. stamped insulator - info required was created by Hanglands_08
Hi,

I came by this piece of ceramic insulator with an air ministry stamp recently.

So far my efforts to find a description for this AM number have drawn blanks. I'd like to at least find out whether it was for high tension or radio freqency applications.

Anyone able to point me in the right direction?

The RAF spares listing - pre NATO stock numbering system - was in Air Publication 1086. The Section and Reference of the item shown appears to be 10A/9114.

Both the PRO and the RAFM hold copies of Air Pubs so you might try them.
