A very big THANK YOU to all of you who have supported our efforts to have the aerodrome opened as a notified airfield. Last night at Maldon Disctrict Council North West Planning Committee, we were granted permission to open the aerodrome to flights and to erect the 3 hangers in their original WW1 locations on the site.
Without your help and support this would not have been possible so please accept our gratitude for the part your support played.
We can now proceed towards making this site a lasting and suitable memorial to the Men and Women who served there in the Great War and provide an exciting opportunity for both Maldon District and the UK in the fields of education and recreation.
