The end of the ORP's... ?

Until when were the ORP used before going to the QRA areas ?

Well the V Bomber deterance ended in 1971, the normal (RS15) hardstandings were still used by V Bombers in the low-level tactical QRA role well into the late 1970s. Not sure if the ORPs were required for this, I very much doubt it.
The dedicated V Force dispersals (East Dispersal) at Mawgan were taken over by the resident 42sqn Nimrods in 1971 (they also had a secondary nuclear bomber role).

But what about Fighter Command Airfields vs the ORP's ?

ORPs were only used for exercises at Leuchars, the QRA or battle flight as it was called in Germany and Cyprus always operated from the sheds AKAIK.

In Germany the nuclear QRA used sheds .
