Poland Disused airfields KMZ files ....(edited)

Edited Post ..Sunday .... now have a kmz file for 29 Polish airfields - most of these thought to be abandoned.

Includes several "highway strips"(stretches of road equipped with off-road aircraft parking ramps)- a couple are in hi-res areas and can be seen in some detail.

Maybe we already have Polish members (UK resident) ...who knows.

There are one or two other places where there are a significant amount of abandoned fields...almostr all the East European countries have ex SovAF bases.

Also Canada - several Wiki pages about abandoned fields there.

Romania didnt have any Soviet bases, this was because Ceaucescu did such a good job of keeping the people in line that no Russian presence was neccessary.
