Three bay Fighter Pens was created by Peter Kirk

I don't think we have had any mention of 3 bay fighter pens (I am happy to be proved wrong). Manston appeared to have at least 2 in the mid way period, one of which was lost when they slapped down a bit of bitumen. Were these peculiar to Manston or where they seen elsewhere? Or have I got it toatally wrong?

Is this mid-way cold war or WW2?

You can tell a builder from an archaeologist by the size of his trowel. Mine is a small one!

Sorry, WW2 - my typing can't keep pace with my brain. The source is the photo kept in AIR10/4038 so I would guess 1942.
