Britten Norman Islander? Undercarriage does not look right-should be twin wheels on the main legs. Mind you my last contact with the Islander was in 1972 so could be wrong.

Looks like a nose wheel fitted in place of the original, although the wings look wrong for an Islander anyway. It does look funny without the trousers :)

Deffo not an Islander. Fuselage from a Rockwell Commander (?) with truncated wings.

No not a BrittenNorman(or is it Britten-Norman?) Islander, as has been said earlier an Aero Commander with truncated wings.

If you look at the nearest wing where it joins the engine nacelle you will see a rib of the full chord wing painted over. A 'stub' wing has been attached presumably the 'tip' of the original mainplane. A non-flier I hope!
