Hawker Hunter

Is it me or does the nose on that Hunter look very very long?

XL 592 a standard T7 as far as I know. Looking sad now.

It does but it looks to be partly due to the wide angle lens and partly due to some modifivation. Radar testing perhaps?

I think it's just deceptive. Look at the size/width of the front u/c and the front u/c door hinges location.

Great photo there Kebecker. That would have been either 1980 or 1981. I remember that Hunter fondly as it was the first one I ever saw fly. It's G-HUNT owned back then by the late Spencer Flack.
