Certainly an unusual place for a Sunderland find. Has anyone got any information on this particular aircraft? Despite the possible link with Pembroke Dock, Sunderland's also operated from Castle Archdale and Mountbatten (any other locations?)

Wasn't the Pegasus used on other aircraft like the Wellington? If the identification is based solely on the engine then it may be flawed.

Apparently it was found nine years ago so its been kept quiet. AFAIK Sunderlands also operated from Invergordon, Bowmore on Islay and with 333 (Norwegian) Sqn at Woodhaven, as well as the other bases mentioned.
