Posted in a rush the other day,I should have mentioned that it had been posted by somebody on key.
But definitely one of the best sixties clips I have seen.
With some nice close ups on tech site(s) and some groundcrew !!
And no signs of Elfnsafety whilst taxying into the woods LOL

Nice picture Rich it was serialled XS692 for the RAF before transferring to US Army and then on to USAF and NASA.

Thanks James, this one, Hawker Siddeley XV-6A Kestrel (64-18263) is on display at the Virginia Air and Space Center in Hampton, just down the road from the one above. Photo taken on the same day by me.

Lovely, '266 was believed to have been 'NASA 520' at one time, so you have caught both NASA 520 and 521!
The first shot of the two seems to have more depth of colour to me. I was wondering as attachments won't come out that size and I can see your image on an MoD computer which I can't normally see from a host site.
Are you out there at the moment?

Got back on Sunday, just about got over the jet lag! Did Vegas too!

Full credit must go out to the organisers of this years Cosford Air Show for bringing out the Kestrel & parking it out in the static park with the Harrier airframes at the airfield. It was a great line-up -

As the Kestrel is the only bird of prey that can hover Ive always been curious as to why the name was changed to Harrier, anyone know the reason?
