Couple of Duxford models I've built for Fight Sim

Watch Office for all commands - 12779/41 (haven't added the VCR as it looks better without it, LOL)

There aren't enough superlatives to describe your work Stevo! Just excellent. :D

Would you ever consider making your models available for cfs3, pretty please with sugar on top? :)

You definitely are the boss in flight simulation modelling !

6 RCAF Bomber Group (organisation, airfields, squadrons, aircarft, and their 70 crashes in Belgium (location, crew, evasion lines, cemeteries, PoW Camps, etc...). Busy for a couple of years !!!!!!

Ah! Stevo; these I like. Pity I gave up on cfs due to time limitations. I thought as the first image was loading that it was a photograph the detail is so good.

Keep up the good work. Digital images like these might be the only archeologists of the future will find.

Hi

thanks all

@petertheeaster, the images applied to the models are taken from actual photos of the real buildings which is why they look so detailed, they where taken for me my a fellow flight simmer on a trip to Duxford. Of course takes a bit of work to remove things that shouldn't be in the photos before I can used them, railings, people, cars, aircraft, etc, LOL

Stevo ;)

What you need is one of those tilt and shift cameras that keep verticals vertical. Mind you they make horizontal angel look odd.

Hi,

Its been a long time since I post the original models of Duxford in this thread, and over the last year John Young and Myself have been working on Duxford.

Thought you might be interested to see how it's coming along.

I can see that I will have to get back into Flight Sim again! I'm really impressed with the rendering; a couple more years and it will be real! Well done Stevo and team.

That has to be THE best airfield model I've seen to date. If I'd seen some of those pics anywhere else I would have had no idea that I wasn't looking at the real thing. Bl**dy Well done!!!
