Hi Jerry

There is the former RFC / RAF airfield at Sedgeford to the North east. Not much there but I believe there is at least on sqn building. the site opened in 1916 and closed in 1920 so there is little else left there. Further to the north east is Docking and Bircham Newton

Downham Market to the south has an airfield, alot of the tech site is intact and used as light industrial units.

Sutton Bridge to the west, is somewhere you'll be passing on the way to Kings Lynn.

Have a look at my site and you'll see what I have photographed, Chris and Noel also have some good photos on their websites as well. Sedgeford is the only one I haven't yet visited.

Hope this helps

Jerry, make sure you ask around at Downham Market. They should be OK though. The memorial is worth a look at. It's next to St. Mary's Church, Bexwell. You can access it from the road immediately opposite the airfield main entrance.

Went out near Kings Lynn today, work related trip and had the camera with me, heres some of the things I saw, i've saved the best till last:

And then the best find for weeks, this was on the wall of pumping station.

Hi Jerry

The first photo will no doubt be the result of OTT H&S! The Stirling prop and plague is very interesting, this pumping station is?

The prop is not on public display, its inside an active pumping station, fully locked and alarmed, its because I was there on business.

It was pure luck we went to that site.
